Organic Style Ltd., the eco luxury internet retailer, announced the acquisition of Coyuchi, Inc., an eco luxury brand for premium organic and Fair Trade cotton bed and bath products.
Founded in 1991 by Christine Nielson, Coyuchi was the first company to market high quality organic cotton bedding. The company specializes in certified organic & Fair Trade bed linens, blankets, towels, robes, sleepwear, baby clothing and home accessories and sells their products in more than 300 specialty retailers, spas and hotels.
Organic Style Ltd. is the newest venture of organic entrepreneur Gerald Prolman, whose flagship floral brand Organic Bouquet pioneered the organic and sustainable fresh cut flower market. In November 2007, Prolman launched the eco luxury shopping internet boutique Organic Style, and in January 2008 relaunched the Organic Style magazine (picture).

Global retail sales for organic cotton products (including apparel and home furnishings) reached $ 1.1 billion in 2006, and are projected to reach $ 6.8 billion in 2010, a growth rate of over 550%, according to the 2007 Organic Exchange Organic Cotton Report.
